The default number of names that will appear when you start to type an email address in a new email is set at 64 by Microsoft. You can extend that list value with this simple registry edit.
Open regedit and navigate to
HKEY_CURRENT_USER/SOFTWARE/MICROSOFT/OFFICE/
Open the folder appropriate office version (usually the highest number you can see. At time of writing this current is 12.0)
Now you will be in
HKEY_CURRENT_USER/SOFTWARE/MICROSOFT/OFFICE/12
Create a new Key called "AutoNameCheck” (without the quotes)
Now create a DWord entry inside that new folder called “MaxNickNames” (without the quotes) and set the value to whatever number of emails you want to set as the maximum available in your list. (I use 2000)
