How do I Create a Link to an external/internal web page ?

You might here this function called a hyperlink. In simple terms what we can create is a link between any word to another page on your website or to an external page ie another site.

The down side to sending a potential customer to another site, is that you are allowing them to navigate away from your business and potentially you could loose them.

Choose a word on your website you'd like to create a link to,

Using the left button on the mouse highlight the word you would like to use, then right click and an option at the top of the

screen will become available. The icon you are looking for is a globe and a chain  .

In the Link Locatio box enter the Location of the webpage.....if you cut and past it from the source this will save making mistakes.

A good map source is multimap (notice this is a link)

the link location that was cut and pasted in is

http://www.multimap.com/map/browse.cgi?client=public&search_result=&db=pc&lang=&keepicon=true&pc=
CV22QJ&advanced=&client=public&addr2=&quicksearch=cv2%202qj&addr3=&addr1
=

By using this function it is clearly a much tidier way of linking to a source and saves space on your pages

Complete the insertion by clicking Insert link

You can use this to link/jump to other pages on your site also, just  cut and paste the source from your browser.

and thats it

Don't forget
