The picture is too large and will be truncated - Excel Error
Microsoft offer a solution to this problem in Article Q300523 however there are mistakes in the process on that page.

Here is the correct procedure

  1. Exit Excel, if Excel is running.
  2. Click Start, and then click Run.
  3. In the Open box, type regedit, and then click OK.
  4. Depending on the version of Excel that you are using, navigate to the following registry subkey

    Excel 2000
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\9.0\Excel\Options\
    Excel 2002
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\10.0\Excel\Options\
    Excel 2003
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Excel\Options\
    Excel 2007
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Excel\Options\

    Note

    If the registry subkey does NOT exist proceed with item 5
    If the registry subkey DOES exist proceed from item 15

  5. If the registry key path does not exist, create the registry key path. To create the registry key path, locate and then select the following registry key:
  6. HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft
  7. Click the Edit menu, click New, and then click Key.
  8. Type Office, and then press ENTER.
  9. Click the Edit menu, click New, and then click Key.
  10. For Excel 2000, type 9.0, and then press the ENTER.

    Note Type the following values, depending on the version of Excel that you use, and then press ENTER:
    • For Excel 2002, type 10.0.
    • For Excel 2003, type 11.0.
    • For Excel 2007, type 12.0.
  11. Click the Edit menu, click New, and then click Key.
  12. Type Excel, and then press the ENTER.
  13. Click the Edit menu, click New, and then click Key.
  14. Type Options, and then press the ENTER.


  15. Click the Edit menu, click New, and then click DWORD Value.
  16. Type the following name for the new value:
    QFE_NICE
  17. Press ENTER.
  18. Right-click the new DWORD value name, and then click Modify.
  19. In the Value data box, type 1 and then click OK.
  20. Repeat steps 5 through to step 9, and then substitute the registry DWORD value QFE_NICE with the following registry DWORD value:
    QFE_ONTARIO
  21. Exit Registry Editor.
