How to change your Hosts file in Windows Vista
Due to "Enhanced" security if you try to modify your hosts file in Vista you cannot save it.
In order to correctly modify the hosts file you need to run notepad.exe as an administrator and open the file.
1) Start - All Programs - Accessories
2) Right click "Notepad" and choose "Run as Administrator"
3) Click "Continue" at the UAC Prompt
4) Click File - Open
5) Browse to the folder C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc
6) Change the Text Documents dropdown (*.txt) to "All Files (*.*)
7) Double click hosts
8) Make the needed changes and close Notepad choosing the "Save" option
